First up was the graveyard. I laid the stones out flat to get a feel for placement. Then fought the wind to stake them in the ground.

I always grumble about the wind never failing to kick up on the day I decide to put the graves up.

But hubby (not prone to as much grumbling as I am) says windy is ideal because we can make sure they are in the ground securely.

Hubby focused on the witch.

Having only built her last year, we weren't sure how she would come out of storage. She was pretty good, only needing minor repair, but hubby wanted to make some changes to the way she's stuck onto the 5 gallon bucket base.

And I wanted to add better hands, so quite a bit of time was spent taking parts of her apart and then putting them back together. It was worth it though, I think she'll look better this year than last.

Lucy supervised, as usual.

A few other things made it out but I'll show you more as everything starts to come together.

Looks very promising :)
