These were my treat bags 2 years ago and I ended up making about 70. They were a little time consuming but once I got an assembly line system worked out it was pretty fast. But the time was definitely worth the reactions the kids had- they loved them!

How I make mine different: Use two halves of one paper bag. I cut the bag in half and use the bottom whole (which you can't see because it's under the ribbon sliced top half of the bag) to hold the candy. The top half of the bag I slice into fringe (keeping the very top of the bag uncut to hold all the ribbon slices together). Then I tied both the candy filled bottom half and the fringe cut top half onto a stick from my yard with some twine.

The trick or treaters must LOVE coming to your house!!!
ReplyDeleteLOL- I sort of feel like the treats have to live up to the rest of the decorations. Anyone who has a 7ft witch in their yard- and it's not necessarily the craziest thing out there- had better live up to expectations when it comes to handing over the goods. Don't you think?
